GSTIT library Facilites and services

The CTIT libraries provide information services to users through Graduate school Library and the Training Library. The Libraries provide Spot reading, Reserve, Renewal, Loan including interlibrary loan, and document search services. Photocopy service and Scanning service is also available for users.. The library reference service is to guide students, faculty, staff and researchers at point of need to resources that accelerate the process of identifying and retrieving information for research, study or personal use.
The libraries collections are housed at both libraries that include print and/or online publications in Information technology, Telecommunication Engineering, Telecommunications Business management. Both libraries contain 10,000 volumes in total .The collection includes publications as recent as 2005.

The library is providing KOHA based online Catalogue Search service to insure ready access to the library’s catalog of holdings using a computer located at both libraries.
In the near future, the graduate school library is going to start serving users by maintaining library research workstations to provide access to electronic resources available on-site and via the internet in support of research and learning at CTIT. From the library research workstation, readers will have access to the libraries public websites, the online catalog, and the networked online resources including over 14,000 online’s Journals covering numerous subject areas. The network access ports allow users to connect their Laptop computer to the college network and the Internet via an Ethernet or a modem connection. A Wireless network access (wifi server) is also available.

The self Service Multi-Media Room is to be available for use by CTIT faculty, Staff and graduate Students. users are invited to use themselves the equipments available to create, reformat, and incorporate digitized text, images, audio and video materials for use in teaching and study .Library staff is ready for consultation.
